Garment Intro Class

 

-Price: $140/person, includes all materials–>

fabric, zipper, interfacing, button, thread, sewing machine, machine feet, pattern, etc.

-Timeline: 2- 2 hour sessions–2 consecutive Thursdays from 6-8pm

-Objective: To learn to read and alter a fashion pattern, with an end result of an A-line skirt (size 8, interfaced waistband, hand stitched bottom hem, traditional slit pockets). 

Required: basic sewing skills and knowledge of sewing machine. 

**No more 4 people/class, minimum of 2 people

*$60.00 deposit required

 

-Start with basic introduction to threading the machine, winding the bobbin, sewing control exercises

-Go over the basic elements of a fashion pattern–learn various tools that can be used, including pattern/m than marking tools and additional machine feet, etc.

-Sew professional quality A-line skirt, while learning technical tools and tricks, in your chosen fabric

**Private lessons available at $35/hour in which we can focus on whatever goal and timeline you want!

 

 

 

Intermediate Garment Construction

 

In this class, you will learn to produce your own fashion pattern and construst a professional quality garment from that.  

-Price: $160/person, includes all materials–>

fabric, closures, interfacing, thread, sewing machine, machine feet, pattern paper, marking tools, measuring tools, etc.

-Timeline: 2- 2.5 hour sessions–2 consecutive weekday nights from 6-8:30pm

Required: basic sewing skills and knowledge of sewing machine,

plus basic understanding of patterns

**No more 4 people/class, minimum of 2 people

*$60.00 deposit required

 

 

 

 

 

 

Draping Garment Construction

 

Bring your fashion concept to life by draping your design on a dress form, transferring it to a re-usable pattern, then  constructing a professional quality garment.

-Price: $215/person, includes all materials–>

muslin, fabric, pattern paper, marking tools, measuring tools, twill tape, dress form, sewing machine, machine feet, etc.

-Timeline: 3- 2.5 hr sessions

-Required: basic sewing skills and knowledge of sewing machine. 

**No more than 2 people/classs, or **Private lessons available at $35/hour in which we can focus on whatever goal and timeline you  want!

*$60.00 deposit required
